I was told that this car was actually in competition at the first NHRA Nationals at Great Bend. I can't confirm that and I don't know who owns the car, but it certainly looks like it could have.
Real steel and looking almost like it stepped out of a '50s "jalopy" dirt track race, this car is obviously set up for drag racing now. Aren't those original Halibrand mag wheels? However, note the modern Kong Jackson heads.
