"Seaton's Super Shaker" was a big name funny car.
I know it's not a funny car, but this bike was there the
same day. The tow car says it's class
is "B/Gas Open Bike." Notice the rear tire isn't what you would
expect on a modern drag bike. Motor cycle slicks weren't very easy to
come by in those days. I think Avon in England was the only
manufacturer so they were pretty few and far between. When I first posted this picture, I didn't have a clue
about who owned the bike, but Jim Henry sent me an email letting me know that it was built by a friend of his,
Jim Every, who is now deceased. The email said that the frame came
straight from England and cost $1,500 bare back when $1,500 was a lot of money.
