In the far lane is Ralph Brown Sr. and in the near lane is Bob "Whitey" McDonald. Both are still active in drag racing. Ralph, his sons and grandson campaign a Super Comp dragster, the son and grandson driving. Whitey has held many flathead national records over the years and still drives a nitromethane burning flathead-powered nostalgia dragster.
