Altered of Charlie Overfeldt from Roanoke, VA. This one burns alcohol fuel. Note fabricated heads. I think this car is an excellent blend of old and new. Winner of Competition Gas bracket class.
Jeff & Sherry Andreen's "altered." I don't really know what to call cars that would be an altered if the just had an altered body. I understand this car is used regularly for bracket racing.
"Altered" of Bill Peters. Note the fabricated heads with two spark plugs per cylinder. This was to test spark plug location rather than provide extra spark, so only one plug per cylinder was actually wired up. This motor uses Hilborn fuel injection originally built for a 303 Oldsmobile which has been modified to fit a flathead.
